Your legs are in good hands with Dr. Mark Ciagne. He is residency trained in general surgery as well as occupational medicine and urgent care. Prior to joining Minnesota Vein Center he practiced at Vein Clinics of America for nearly 4 years. He combines his medical experience with a specialized knowledge of vein disease to offer patients best-in-class treatments that result in healthier legs.
Dr. Ciagne has extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders. He specializes in ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy, radiofrequency ablation and endovenous thermal treatments.
Dr. Ciagne graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Ciagne completed his general surgery residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He went on to complete his occupational and environmental medicine fellowship at Regions Hospital/HealthPartners in St. Paul, MN.
Prior to focusing on varicose vein treatment, he served as a general and trauma surgeon at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN as well as an attending occupational and urgent care physician at Park Nicollet in St. Louis Park, MN.
Dr. Ciagne is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society, American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM), American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), Hitchcock Surgical Society and the American Venous & Lymphatic Society.
